Torysh

Torysh — the site is also known as the “Valley of Balls” due to the spherical concretions lying on the surface, ranging in diameter from 10–15 cm to 4 meters. These concretions, 40–60 million years old, were formed on the floor of the ancient Tethys Ocean.
The area is an open steppe, scattered with giant stone spheres. They lie in groups, isolated clusters, or as solitary boulders, creating the impression of an extraterrestrial landscape.
